Current Research Opportunities

I am a PsyD candidate at Georgian Court University in Lakewood, NJ in the process of completing my dissertation which investigates school psychologists’ involvement when serving LGBTQ students. An understanding of gaps in training, attitudes toward treatment, and barriers to practice reported by practicing school psychologists will assist in identifying areas to address to improve the quality of services for LGBTQ youth.

Thank you for your consideration of this request and support of my dissertation study. It is my hope that the results of this survey research will contribute, to the extent that they are able, to a better understanding of, and recommendations for, best practices for school psychologists in their work with LGBTQ students.

If you have questions or would like additional information, please contact me directly, Raquan Clinton (rc14864@georgian.edu) or my dissertation chairperson, Dr. Lynn DeCapua (ldecapua@georgian.edu).
